She made us work for that 8 second pass but finally on the last day of the season, everything finally came together and we were able to get much deeper into the 8s than we hoped for 8.71 @ 161mph. Just to show there is no real formula to make a car fast, it happens with dedication and a real team that shares a common goal. For the Prime Motoring team, this is a wonderful achievement and we’re looking forward to riding this momentum into the new year. We learned so much this year from setting up a dedicated race car like this. The 8 second pass was there to confirm we can put together a fast car with off the shelf motor, turbo kit and factory ecu tuning. The car was knocking on a home run pass all year long but just needed it to come together and cant get much sweater than the last day of the racing season.
